The second generation of Xhorse wired remotes contain the latest XM5118 transceiver. This updated transceiver provides enhanced efficiency and durability for the Xhorse universal remotes.

The remote comes with an additional wireless programming mode. A wired cable can still be attached to the PCB but the added bonus for wireless programming allows for convenient flexible programming. Efficient and hassle-free.

Second generation remotes have lower power consumption rates than their earlier versions. This helps to ensure a key can go with less frequent battery changes. There is a 75% reduction in static current and a 30% decrease in operating current when compared with first generation.

To ensure better reliability and durability, the remotes are designed with enhanced anti-static protections. These remotes have successfully passed contact-based 4.0kV bare board discharge tests and 20.0kV enclosed discharge tests.
